Texas Iron was the 1st magazine of its type in the country and began in 1990. For 7 years, Texas Iron made history for its cover photos (a nun on a Harley, Ms. Harley-Davidson, Governor Ann Richards just to name a few), and its many biker stories, reader’s rides, tank art, biker’s art, and great looking bike features – not to mention coverage of Texas biker events.
We’ll, it’s about time Texas Iron makes a come back, right!
With an on line presence, www.texasironmagazine.com and www.texasironmotorcyclemagazine.com, a September launch date, t-shirts, stories, event coverage, tank art as well as our all the other stuff and our ever important “in memory of” Texas Iron will continue to make history.
Lots of ideas flowing, but needed will be artists, writers, photographers, riders who will cover events for us, and a volunteer staff (at 1st anyway) to get going. Using the net, things are going to be much easier than before.
So get out those old photos, stories, etc. and start sending them in to P O Box 170114, Austin, TX 78750 c/o Frank T. Editor-in-Chief. Or send me an e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org so we can get the ball rolling.
Or you can contact us here.
